"Are you sure you want to go through with this?She is a formidable enemy."

"Then go,and serve me well."
"Would you expect anything less?"
Tsukino Usagi ran down the sidewalk,late for school for what seemed to be the billionth time.Today was the first day back to classes,the first day of her senior year in high school. She would be eighteen years old soon, and still couldn't make it to school on time.
"What a way to make a first impression."she grumbled.
Still,it was an absolutely gorgeous day.The sun was shining brightly,the birds were singing,and cherry blossoms danced on the wind.She rounded the corner,not really paying attention to where she was going,when she suddenly slammed into something solid.She rubbed her nose somewhat angrily and looked up.A very handsome man was offering his hand to her.
"Are you okay?"he asked.
She nodded taking his hand and pulling herself up.
"Late for school?"
"Yeah."she answered,brushing the dirt from her uniform and looking for her bookbag.He smiled warmly and handed it to her.
"You'd better hurry."
She took her bag and smiled back.He started to turn away but stopped.
"What grade are you in?"he asked.
Usagi looked up."Twelve."
"Really?"
She nodded.
"Well then,you see,I'm a new teacher here,and my niece is starting school here today.She doesn't know anybody,and I'd show her around,but I'm afraid I'm late for a meeting.Do you think you could show her the ropes?"
Usagi nodded happily."Sure!"she exclaimed."Who is your niece?"
The man put his hand on her shoulder and pointed. "Right over there,sitting on the banister.She's waiting for me,but I really have to run.And thank you very much!"
The man bowed and ran off towards the teacher's room.Usagi wiped the remaining dust from her skirt and walked over.The girl was sitting all alone,her back to Usagi,drawing pictures in the dirt with a small twig.She looked up when she heard Usagi approach. Usagi hestitated for a split moment as the two locked eyes.
"Wow!"Usagi thought."She looks a lot like me!"
The girl smiled cheerily then continued drawing and humming to herself.
"Hi!!"Usagi grinned and bowed."I'm Usagi!You're new here right?Your uncle asked me to show you around since he's late for a meeting."
The girl looked up surprised.
"That was really nice of you.I'm Shiro Lunako."she stood and bowed.
"Come on!!"Usagi took Lunako by the hand."I'll show you to your homeroom.We should be in the same one.And I'll introduce you to some of my friends."
Lunako followed without much choice.
"That's very nice of you."she gasped as they ran along. She stopped suddenly when she saw Usagi's ring finger.
"Wow!!What a beautiful ring!You must have a very caring boyfriend."
Usagi looked down at the ring and blushed.
"Yes."she sighed dreamily."I do."
"Usagi-chan!!!"
Usagi turned and waved.Haruka,Michiru,Mina,Ami,and Mako-chan ran up to her.
"Good Morning Everyone!"
"Who's this?"Haruka asked.
"This is Lunako,she just transferred here this morning.Her Uncle is a new teacher.He asked me to show her around."
"Well,on behalf of our school,we welcome you!"Michiru smiled.
"Let's continue this conversation at lunch!"Minako gestured to her watch."'Cause the bells gonna ring in less than a minute!"
Usagi gasped and grabbed Lunako's hand as everyone scrambled to get to homeroom.They flopped down into their seats just as the bell rang.
"Wow!I thought we'd had it for sure!"Makoto grinned."That would've been awful!Late for school on our first day!"
Usagi breathed a sigh of relief.
"So."Ami smiled at Lunako."Where are you from?"
"Me?"Lunako looked surprised."I'm not really from anywhere.My Uncle and I move around a lot.It's hard to make friends that way."
Usagi leaned back in her chair.
"Well,we'll gladly be your friends!"
"All right class.Let's get started!"
Usagi jumped,the chair tipped,and she fell with an incredibly loud crash to the floor.
"Are you all right?"Lunako jumped to her feet and knelt by Usagi.
"Oh don't worry."Usagi sat up."This sort of thing happens to me all the time.Stick around long enough and you'll see what I mean."
Lunako looked to Ami.
"It really does."Ami nodded.
Usagi climbed embarrassed back into her chair and folded her hands,trying to pretend that nothing happened.
"Tsukino-san are you all right?"
Usagi blinked in surprise and nodded.Their new teacher was Lunako's uncle.
"Good now shall we begin?"
The warm April sun shone down school yard where Usagi and the others sat eating lunch.
"So."Haruka laughed between bites."You fell down in front of the entire class?"
"A typical day for me."Usagi felt her face get hot.
"Oh let's just forget it."Lunako sighed,trying to shift the conversation from Usagi's embarrassing moment."So why don't you tell me what there is to do around here."
"Well,for entertainment we usually go to the arcade around the corner."Usagi counted off on her fingers."There's the park,shopping....."
"Hey!"Lunako suddenly exclaimed."I here a lot of weird stuff happens here in Tokyo.The Sailorsenshi are really world famous.You guys ever seen the Sailorsenshi?"
"Really?"Usagi exclaimed."World Famous?!"
"Yeah.So you ever seen them?"
"Yeah!"Usagi exclaimed.Haruka nudged her hard in the side."Well,I mean I think I saw them once.But they were really far away and it was dark.Probably just my imagination."
"Oh."Lunako was dissappointed.
"Well."Michiru laid her hand on her shoulder."Maybe you'll get to see one!You never know!But it's been a long time since anything weird has happened here in Tokyo."
"Lunako!"
Lunako looked up to see her uncle scanning the school yard.
"Uncle!"She shouted and waved.
He turned towards her and waved back.She stood and ran to him.
"That's her uncle?"Makoto leaned over,whispering to Usagi."Usagi?"
She didn't answer,she was staring hard at Lunako and her Uncle.
"Usagi!"Makoto said louder.
"Huh...what?"she shook her head and looked around.
"You'd think that Mamoru had some competition the way you stare at him."
"It's not that."Usagi said sharply."It's just that I've got this weird feeling.....what do you call it?When you've seen someone before,or been somewhere before."her voice trailed off.
"It's called Deja Vu."Ami replied.
"What ever it is,I've got it."
"But where could you have seen him before?"
"Not just him....her too."
"That's just because she looks like you."Mina pointed out.
"No."Usagi argued."That's not it either."
"Whatever you feel,it'll have to wait until after school.The bells' gonna ring."
"See you tomorrow!!"Makoto and Minako cried in unison while waving to Usagi.
"Bye!!"
"You've got some really great friends."Lunako sighed."It must be nice."
"You must have at least one good friend."Usagi raised an eyebrow."A nice girl like you."
"Yeah,I did have one really good friend,but I had to say goodbye when we moved away."
"That must have been tough."Usagi looked at the sky,a shooting star flashed briefly and then vanished.
"Yeah it was."Lunako wiped away a stray tear.
"Don't feel bad!"Usagi said gently."I'm sure you'll see her again."
"You think so?"
"True friendship isn't broken by time or distance.I speak from experience."Usagi winked.
"That's good to hear."
"So Lunako.....you thought you could escape me?"
Usagi looked wildly around.Lunako's eyes widened.
"No."she whispered."It couldn't possibly...."
"Think again."
The street went dark as one by one the streetlights exploded.Usagi shoved Lunako behind her,laying her hand on her brooch just in case.
"Your mother and father were clever to send you here.But not clever enough."
Lunako shrank back terrified.
"What's going on?"Usagi whispered.
"Don't ask her,she has no clue."the darkness wavered for a moment before them and a girl stepped into the street out of thin air.
"Who are you?"Usagi clenched her teeth.
"Me?"the strange girl laid her hand to her chest in astonishment."Are you addressing me?I am the princess Oniko.And if you don't mind stepping aside."
"Never."Usagi glared at Oniko,daring her to make a move.
Oniko was shocked,but then laughed it off."Very well then,have it your way." As she crossed her wrists and threw her arms outwards,an energy ball slammed into Usagi knocking her away,and forcing Lunako to the ground.
"Usagi-chan!"Lunako cried.
Usagi stood quickly. "You've messed with the wrong girl!"
Oniko smiled smugly."Yeah.And what are you going to do about it?"she taunted.
Usagi held up her brooch."Moon Eternal Make-Up!!"she shouted. Oniko and Lunako gasped in unison as Usagi's school uniform was melted away and was replaced by that of Eternal Sailormoon's.
"I am the soldier of Love and Justice Sailormoon!In the name of the moon I will punish you!"
Oniko laughed. "Spare me the speeches.I know who you are.And you still won't win!"
Sailormoon stepped protectively in front of Lunako.
"You okay?"
"Usagi...you...why didn't you tell me."
"Would you go around telling people if you were me?"
"No,I suppose not."
"Enough with the chit-chat!"Oniko cried angrily."Lunako you are mine!"
Oniko summoned up and even bigger blast of energy,which slammed into Sailormoon before she had time to react.Lunako screamed and vanished.
"No!"Sailormoon yelled.The energy released her and she jumped vainly to where her friend had been,only to see her terrified face disappear into the darkness.
"How dare you."Sailormoon held out her tier.
"Face it dearest.You're just too slow."Oniko laughed and dissapeared in a flurry of cherry blossoms.Eternal Sailormoon sank to her knees in tears in the middle of the empty street.
"So."Setsuna looked at the floor."She just vanished into thin air?"
Usagi nodded."And her uncle seems to have disappeared too."
Hotaru stared out the window at the moon."And now we have a new enemy to face."
Usagi lay her head in her hands as Oniko's taunts came flooding back to her.
"We will face her.And defeat her like everyone else."Rei balled her fists in anger.
"But who is she?"Usagi wondered."And how did she know who I was?"
"Well."Minako sighed."We'll just have to wait and see."
Yeah,I did have one really good friend,but I had to say goodbye when we moved away.
"I promise you Lunako."Usagi vowed."You will see your friend again."
